The new Public Lottery Licence issued to Tattersall's Sweeps Pty Ltd commenced on 1 July 2018 for a period of 10 years:

Previous lottery licences

Intralot Australia Pty Ltd previously held a Category 2 Public Lottery Licence, which it surrendered on 31 January 2015.

Trade lotteries

The VGCCC also regulates trade promotion lotteries intended to promote a trade or business, including an element of chance at any stage. Examples include barrel draws, spinning wheels, scratch 'n' win tickets and 1900 telephone calls.
