Gaming venue staff must assist players of YourPlay under the requirements of the:

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) undertakes periodic monitoring activities to ensure venue operators understand and comply with licence conditions. Venue operators are required to attest their compliance with:

  • At least once each year, venue operators who offer a loyalty scheme must provide each active participant with a player activity statement.
  • At least once each year, venue operators must send each participant in the scheme a notice informing them of their right to inform the provider to cease participating in the scheme (the Notice).
  • Venue operators must remove a participant from the scheme if the participant informs the provider that they wish to cease participating in the scheme.

The below information is to be included in the Notice:

  • the name and contact details of the loyalty scheme provider
  • how the participant can opt out of the scheme
  • how the participant’s tier status and benefits will be dealt with when they opt-out
  • when the opt-out will take effect after the participant requests to opt-out.

Penalties will apply to venue operators who offer loyalty schemes and fail to include the prescribed information or fail to send out notices.

An annual attestation and declaration of compliance with the above is required to be submitted. If you have not received an email with an attestation, please contact the VGCCC.
