Carded play
Carded play means using a YourPlay-linked membership card to play any poker machine.
YourPlay(opens in a new window) is a tool that can help you:
- set limits of time or money spent on gambling
- keep track of your own poker machine use across Victoria.
From 14 December 2023, you have to register for YourPlay(opens in a new window) to use poker machines at Crown Casino. Mandatory carded play and pre-commitment limits will be progressively implemented across all Victorian poker machine venues over a 3-year period from December 2025.
Gambling venues must follow rules for letting people know about YourPlay and how they can register.
If you think a venue is not following the rules around YourPlay, you can make a complaint(opens in a new window).
Pre-commitment limits
Pre-commitment limits allow you to set a limit on the amount of money and time you want to spend gambling before your session starts.
