On 23 November 2012, the Commission handed down its Reasons for Decision on Craigieburn Sporting Club's application to increase the number of gaming machines at the approved premises. The application was granted subject to the conditions set out in paragraph 37 of the Reasons for Decision.

On 21 December 2016, the Commission subsequently granted an application by Craigieburn Sporting Club Inc to amend the conditions that are outlined in the above decision. In particular, the Commission granted an extension to 10 November 2017 for the substantial completion of works at the Craigieburn Sporting Club. The Craigieburn Sporting Club Inc must further cease operation of the additional electronic gaming machines between 21 December 2016 and 10 November 2017.
On 6 December 2017, the Commission granted an application by Craigieburn Sporting Club Inc to extend the time for the substantial completion of works at the Craigieburn Sporting Club until 15 February 2018. Craigieburn Sporting Club Inc must not operate the additional electronic gaming machines until the works are substantially completed.

On 17 December 2014 the Commission handed down its reasons regarding a stay application on behalf of Geelong Amateur Arts Fund Inc for refusing to declare them as a community or charitable organisation, pending the determination of an appeal pursuant to section 8.3.5 of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003.
The Commission has determined to grant the stay application subject to certain conditions outline in paragraph 23 of the reasons.
The appeal hearing will be conducted on 3 and 4 February 2015.
