Gambling Harm Awareness Week will be held from 18 - 24 November 2024.
Gambling Harm Awareness Week is held each year to highlight the issue of gambling harm and raise awareness to how it effects individuals, families, and communities.
Gambling harm can not only hurt your self-esteem, relationships, physical and mental health, work, and social life, but it can also impact those around you.
The week gives government, community groups, and industry a chance to increase gambling harm awareness in the community.
The VGCCC is leading Gambling Harm Awareness Week in Victoria.
Gambling Harm Awareness Week will take place from 18 to 24 November 2024.
This year’s theme is: “What are the chances?”
Gambling products can be confusing, and people don’t always know the real chances of winning.
The campaign aims to bust some common myths about winning and offers tips to protect people from gambling harm.
We’re creating resources to help people understand the risks of gambling, easy ways to stay safe, and where to find support.
These resources and other promotional materials will be available for campaign supporters and community groups to share in their local community.
We will keep updating this page as we get closer to Gambling Harm Awareness Week 2024.
