VGCCC bingo inquiry - Reminder to have your say

Calling all community organisations, not-for-profit groups and gambling industry stakeholders to participate in our first inquiry into the bingo sector.

Launched earlier this month, the VGCCC’s inquiry ‘Keeping bingo social, safe and fair’ will focus on:

  • understanding the customer experience of playing bingo to fundraise and in commercial settings
  • the role of bingo in fundraising, including the role of community and charitable organisations

  • the practices of entities and individuals who are part of the bingo industry

  • how regulatory oversight and industry practice can be improved.

A discussion paper is now available on the Engage Victoria website and surveys will soon be shared with bingo operators, community organisations and customers.

With the aim to foster dialogue, gather evidence, and identify opportunities for improvement, we strongly encourage everyone to get involved and help shape the future of bingo in Victoria.

Submissions close at noon, Thursday 1 August 2024.
