Poker machines must have YourPlay connected

Today is YourPlay Day. Venue operators must ensure all poker machines are connected to the YourPlay system when available for gameplay.

If venue operators discover poker machines are not connected to YourPlay, those machines must not be available for gameplay until YourPlay is reconnected. The only exception is when a scheduled outage of the YourPlay system occurs across all venues.

It’s best practice for venues to check daily the YourPlay connection on their poker machines. You can use the following steps in our guidance sheet (PDF, 142.31 KB) if you need assistance.

The VGCCC will apply zero tolerance if we become aware that venue operators knowingly operate poker machines without YourPlay.

Last month, the Magistrates Court fined Rumotel Pty Ltd, the operator of the Tower Hotel in Hawthorn East, $25,000 for 37 charges, including allowing patrons to use poker machines while YourPlay wasn’t functioning.
