Payment of the 2018-19 supervision charges by gaming venue operators has been postponed by the Victorian Government to assist venue operators impacted by coronavirus.
This was gazetted by the State Treasurer on Tuesday 5 May 2020.
Venue operators will soon receive an invoice for the 2018-19 supervision charge which should be paid as a single instalment, no later than 31 January 2021.
Each financial year, gaming venue operators are required to pay a supervision charge to recover the costs of regulating the gaming industry in Victoria. Payment of these charges is usually due on 1 May each year.
Penalty interest charges will not be payable.
We have written to individual venue operators to advise of this measure. To ensure all relevant information is received, venue operators can update their contact details via the online services portal
